Elevating the cabinet on the plinth off the ground increases overall stability and creates space for tidy cable routing and under‑cabinet access, which improves airflow throughout the enclosure. The raised platform also protects equipment from floor‑level hazards like dust, accidental spills, and minor flooding, while providing a finished, professional appearance to the rack installation.
